KSPR To Move One Of Its Evening Newcasts
It was an experiment when it began back last year. Now, the 5:30 news is moving. The newscast will fall in line with the other two network stations in Springfield and will begin airing a 6 p.m. broadcast, effective September 8. World News w/ Charles Gibson will move back to the 5:30 p.m. slot. The 4:30 broadcast will remain in place.

It'll be interesting to see if they can beat KOLR for a newscast.
I wish they would just go ahead and go back to a 5:00, 6:00 like normal so they could really see where they stand in the ratings.
Do you remember when Springfield 33 had a 6:30 newscast? That was actually pretty entertaining to watch with the Your Turn 33 call-in segment. That was back when I worked there in 2000 when some of that was going on.
