How many seconds until Christmas?

Are you stressing that you won't get your holiday shopping done in time? People in Mid-Missouri must be. KMIZ has placed a Christmas countdown clock on their website. You can find out just exactly how much time is left until the big day by heading to www.kmiz.com !

Just a word of caution, however, as it is a cleverly designed link to KMIZ's holiday gift guide. Hmm...

Kansas City News In Turmoil...

KCTV 5's weekend meteorologist Julie Broski has left KCTV5. KMBC, Channel 9, has a new crazy anchor rotation that I am not sure anyone can figure out. Couple that with the station losing its news director and one has to ask the question... what is going on?

I thought it would be a cold day when I blogged that NBC 41 had the most stability in the Kansas City market. Looks like that is the case, however, and it should be interesting to see what the November ratings look like.

Nancy Grace Hospitalized!

TVNewser is reporting that CNN Headline News anchor Nancy Grace has been hospitalized following complications post-birth of her twins. She apparently was suffering from blod clots in the lungs.

Media Outlets Covering the Rowan Ford Story

First off let me say our thoughts and prayers are with the Rowan Ford family. What a horrible tragedy!

I was away from the internet the last few days as this story has been breaking, but agree with Randy Turner who sums up the situation eloquently on his blog The Turner Report. You can check out that entry here.

KSPR.com, as well as other news websites, now have service arrangements.

The tragedy is the 5th most viewed story on cnn.com.

Sister station KFJX, Fox 14, also has a new site.

FNC's Courtney Friel... IQ...uh, I'm all about street smarts!

Inside Cable News has a video blog entry from Fox News Live that is too good to miss.

Julie Banderas brags about her 135 IQ, Greg Jarrett can't remember his, and Courtney Friel... well... she dodges the number question but insinuates she might not have that high of a score.
