MSNBC's Chris Jansing Moving

The last of the true MSNBC anchors will be leaving to become NBC's LA-Based Coorespondent. Inside Cable News has an amazing piece on what her departure means for MSNBC, while reviewing all she has accomplished on the network. There is no word on when Jansing's last anchor day will be. She was seen anchoring on MSNBC this afternoon.

She's a true class act, and one of the best in the business, if not the best in the business, on old school leg reporting, anchor duties and just-the-facts coverage. She will be missed.

I know I'll miss her, she is the best morning anchor MSNBC ever had and a heck of a diligent reporter in the 2000 election, Sept. 11, the 2004 campaign and countless other stories. MSSNBC was much better when it was about her and reporters like her and not about political spin 24/7. I loved watching it when she was on there and when they had the Nachman show, now I maybe watch some morning anchors but avoid the rest.

God Bless you and keep you, Ms. Jansing. You're the best and wherever you go you are a huge asset.

Just a fan and someone who appreciates great coverage and reporting. David in New Jersey.

I've watched Chris for over 20 yrs, first in Albany NY, and then on MSNBC and now NBC Nightly News. A true professional!
