It shocked many people in Kansas City when the NBC affiliate KSHB pulled its mid-morning program "Kansas City Live" off of the air for the 4th hour of the Today Show. Some didn't notice while others were outraged.
This issue continues to boil. In fact, a January 27 editorial in the Kansas City Star blasts the station for pulling the program. Then, in today's Kansas City Star, average readers weigh in on the story. I guess the main question left to ask is what the ratings were like for the show? That might be a bigger reason for the cancellation.
